`Drift Away' - Pattern No. 05-0503

These three ensembles will take your ladies through morning, afternoon and evening `activities'- perhaps a working lunch where only a suit is appropriate; then a casually elegant pant suit for an early evening drinks party; then for later pull out the stops with an eye stopper of a gown - make all these with these easy to use patterns.

`Sea-Horse'

A deceptively simple suit and not a dart in sight! Princess lines on the jacket and a skirt molded for fit. Add a little something to the back of the jacket, and insert some braid in the seams and you'll lift this suit into a class of it's own!

`Ocean Goddess'

How simple can a dress be? - this simple! A bias cut chiffon assymetrical sheath over a crepe-de-chine opposing assymetrical underskirt, highlight the hem with gold speckles and viola - and for that Oceanic Goddess look wrap gold ribbon around the bodice, extending from the straps to tie at the back. Add a long beaded wrap, another sequin concoction to her hair, a jaunty purse and there you have her

`Gold Sand'

Here you have a classy, timelessly elegant understated three piece Coat-Pant suit made in the `cut'n-sew' method using a fine silky pale gold knit fabric. Long, loose and wide pants enhanced by a gold chain belt ; a short sleeveless, roll necked top; and a long semi-fitted ankle length duster coat work together with the utmost simplicity - she's ready to go anywhere in this outfit and it only took you a couple of hours to complete!
