Calypso!

Gene has flown down to Rio for a few days to relax. She'll not be lying on the beach though, she'll be out on the town each night in the Club Tropicano, Rio's hottest spot!

Seen here in a blisteringly bright ensemble, she'll attract attention from Rio's celebrated Romeos

Put your sunglasses on boys...Gene's in town!!

The pure silk midriff baring top has heavily beaded and embroidered  epaulettes, with swaying gold fringing.

Rumour has it Gene had this outfit made for a trip to Acapulco, but changed her mind at the last minute and flew over to Rio, leaving a bevy of press waiting for her there. So we've the scoop folks!!!

Her petrol blue and cyclamen shot Taffeta cloak is lavishly embroidered around the base, and at the collar.

Famed for her hats, she doesn't dissapoint either. This jaunty number blends perfectly with her outfit covered in silk blooms, topped with a plume, and finished with an irredescant blow.

The skin tight cyclamen crepe skirt has a sash tightly swathed around her slim hips. It has been embroidered and beaded,  and again those gold fringes swing to that soft Calypso beat. Her purse too has appliqued flowers to the front.

These two pictures show the embroidery and beading which surrounds the base of the cloak, which incidently is lined with the cyclamen crepe. Each floral embroidery has pink beads and  petrol blue bugles highlighting the design, and teensy glod beads are dotted around, joining each panel of the cloak.
