ENVY
The honeymoon was a distant memory......and so almost was he. Field trips, expiditions, she never saw him! More and more he was in meetings with fellow scientists, especially one.... a female botanist, Dr Angelica Fellows. Adele noticed how they talked, almost drooling over bugs and plants. Alone, at a friends birthday party, in the Stork Club, she felt so totally alone. She missed him so. Gerard was up the Amazon somewhere in search of new species. How she envied those creatures, they meant more to him than she ever could, she was so insignificant in his life now.
Envy outfit consists of the following: Emerald green, full taffetta skirt, cinched in at the waist in tiny pleats, also has a full emerald tulle underskirt.The gold/green sparkly top, of vintage 50's fabric, has gold bead detail at back closure. A wide dark emerald, swing coat of short fur pile fabric, has large fifties jet button detailing. The bandeau hat has emerald tulle `spikes' secured with green and gold beads along the length on each side, the tiny bag has little beaded flowers. Cluster bead earrings, necklace, black gloves, and a pair of green court shoes with gold sequinned toes, finish the total look.
