Curtain Call

Gene is in the midst of rehearsing for a Charity show to be held at the Hollywood Bowl. She's waiting for her dancing partner to arrive, and the choreographer is becoming impatient.. To everyone's surprise a handsome stranger approaches and takes her in his arms and says .......... `I'll run through the steps with you'.

Gene's dress is made in egg-shell blue slipper satin, with an overskirt of egg-shell blue lace. Around her hips is a beaded sash appliqued with an embellished Iris flower. Notice her bejewelled shell purse

In her hair is a chiffon, satin and bead corsage, at her ears crystal drops, and at her throat a cascade of crystal beads.

On her arms the longest pale blue gloves.

heT hooded cloak is made from a minky brown velvet shot with egg-shell blue, resulting in a soft haze of colour. It is lined with the slipper satin as in the dress. On the back and front yokes of the cloak are appliqued Iris's, emphasising the squared 40's shoulder detail
