In the Wings

Gene is standing in the wings of the Hollywood Bowl watching the rehearsals for a fundraising concert to be held later that week in which she has a part.

All the biggest names have been recruited to lend their talents and no-one refused!

She wears an egg-shell blue pure wool crepe suit appliqued with Irises, which have been embellished with crystal and bronze beads. Around her neck a rope of blue and bronze beads and at each ear a cluster of beads.

On her shoulders is a luxuriously thick mink stole lined in blue slipper satin, which sits snuggly around her neck.

Her gauntlet gloves are studded up the inside seam with teal beads.

Her shot blue and minky brown hat is lined with blue satin and embellished with bronze beads, and finished with a minky plume at the rear. A large velvet clutch purse finishes the ensemble.
